Temple Opening & Darshan Windows
The temple opens early morning at 3:00 AM for Mangala Aarti and remains open until 11:00 PM. General Sugam Darshan queues run smoothly throughout the day except during specific Aarti and Bhog offering windows.
Famous Aartis & How to Book
- Mangala Aarti (3:00 AM - 4:00 AM): The most revered morning ritual. Requires advance ticket booking.
- Bhoga Aarti (11:15 AM - 12:20 PM): Mid-day offering of Mahaprasad to Lord Shiva.
- Sapta Rishi Aarti (7:00 PM - 8:15 PM): Performed simultaneously by seven priests with Vedic chants.
- Shringara Aarti (9:00 PM - 10:15 PM): Grand evening decoration and floral shringar of the Jyotirlinga.
Important Visitor Etiquette & Locker Rules
Mobile phones, cameras, leather belts, and large bags are strictly prohibited inside the main temple premises. Free and paid locker facilities are available near Gate 4 (Godaulia) and Saraswati Phatak entrance.
