About Chandi Devi Temple
Chandi Devi Temple sits on the crest of Neel Parvat on the opposite bank of the Ganga. The original idol is said to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century.
Devotees reach the top via a 3 km trekking path or the Chandi Devi Udan Khatola ropeway.
