About Harsiddhi Mata Temple
Harsiddhi Mata Temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, located right next to the Mahakal Lok corridor in Ujjain. King Vikramaditya was a devoted worshipper of Goddess Harsiddhi.
In the temple courtyard stand two massive 140-foot-tall iron Deepasthambhas (lamp pillars) containing 1,008 lamp sockets, lit dramatically during Navratri evenings.
