About Shri Annapurna Devi Mandir
Goddess Annapurna is the provider of food and sustenance in Kashi. Legend says Lord Shiva himself accepted alms from Mata Annapurna to sustain the world.
The temple distributes free daily Mahaprasad to hundreds of devotees. On Dhanteras, a solid gold idol of Mata Annapurna is unveiled for public darshan for just three days a year.
